Brief Biography

Daniel Michael Okwabi Adjin is my name, born on 12th May 1961at James Town – AccraI am a Ghanaian and married with 4 children.  I hold a PhD degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Aalborg University in Copenhagen, Denmark (May 2014), and researched in the area/field of Information Systems (IS) & Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) studies. I obtained my Masters Degree in Telecommunication Engineering at the Odessa Institute of Electronics & Communications, Ukraine (Former USSR) in July 1991, majored in Satellite Communications.

My work experience is as follows; currently, I am a lecturer (2005  to Date  ) and the Head of Faculty of Engineering (effective 1st September 2014) at GTUC, former HOD/Telecom Eng Dept at GTUC (2007  to 2010  ), Adjunct Lecturer at the School Of Communication –University of Ghana – Legon (2008 to date), former Chief Engineer – Vodafone Gh Ltd (2005  to 2009  ), Senior Telecom Engineer & Head / Greater Accra Regional Transmission Systems Section, Ghana Telecom Co. Ltd (2002  to 2003),  Nkutunse Satellite Earth Station Manger (2000  to 2003),    Asst. Telecom Engineer – Ghana Telecom Co. Lt (1993  to 1999), National Service Personnel (1992  to 1993) &: Asst –Telecom – Superintendent – P&T Corporation Ghana (1981 to 1985).
